“A Warm Winter” by Priyam Kumar is a fictional love story about Abhay and Anamika. They meet for the first time on a chilly winter morning when Abhay is all set to reach office but Anamika’s scooty has broken down. He helps her reach the railway station to catch her train. • Appreciations:

Simple narration style, exquisite use of expressions and a constant pace make the story a good read.

  • Let-downs:

There were points where the scenes would change without even a gap in between the two parts. This will make it difficult to readers to switch their minds from one situation to the other. Adequate editing was required.

  • Verdict:

Nothing extraordinary but a good book to spend time with. (3.5/5)
