“Still Waiting” by Prateek Shukla is the love story of a 12th std boy named Sunny. The plot begins with Sunny’s college fete wherein a girl proposes him unexpectedly and runs away without saying anything after that. Cupid strikes him and he falls in love with her. He doesn’t know anything about her, but as they say love knows no bounds. With the help of his friend Adi, he does all nonsensical things from creating her sketch, organizing a second fete, making a facebook app, hacking her account and then when he finally meets her, things turn sour. He still has hope and she understands his situation, leading way to their friendship. Does she fall in love with him? Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The grammar was perfect, the plot flowed smoothly and the narrations were straight to the point. The reader will definitely enjoy this sweet story.
Some incidents could have been more enjoyable if described in detail.
Straight to point sweet love story. (4/5)
